Kyparissi Rocks
The infamous region of Lakonia is mostly known for the Spartans, the fortified towns of Monemvasia and Mystras, the picturesque Mani villages and the majestic beaches of Elafonisos.

Kyparissi is a hidden complex of original small fishing villages laying at the foot of mountain Parnonas. At this beautiful small bay on the east coast of Peloponnese life flows smoothly and quietly. The rough landscape kept the character of Kyparissi intact as it limited access from the land until the late 60’s. It was connected with the rest of the world mainly by sea and through the mountain paths over Parnonas, which now provide an excellent network for trekkers.
However, few people know that this classic Greece trip can be combined with magnificent limestone climbing alongside the hip climbing destination of Leonidio.
Nikos will guide you on the best rock climbing routes of this massive rock face that expands almost a kilometer wide, reaching 70-80 meters in height. The rocky colonnettes, the endless sea view and the easy-living of Lakonia make Kyparissi an ideal place for great sport climbing.
